Inspiration came from both my parents who are artists , a Potter & a Painter.

1986 I worked & travelled solo in Brazil, Peru, Bolivia. Voluntary work on a Camphill ( Rudolph Steiner)Farm in Minaes Gerais where I milked cows, cooked and created art projects.

1990 1st class Honors degree Wimbledo School of Art ‘Costume Interpretation’. I learnt the art of historical pattern cutting and my passion was beading and embroidery.

I worked as a costume maker for Cosprop in London for a few years. In the meantime I travelled and explored different cultures and communities as often as I could! For me travel is one of the greatest learning journeys through my life. I love talking to people, hearing their stories and particularly learning about Birth in different cultures.

Pakistan – China: I spent almost a year travelling the Karakoran High road through the mountains of North Pakistan over into China.

Africa: Morocco, Ethiopia, Kenya.

Europe: I lived in Turin, Italy with my family for a few years.
